Churches today are subject to theft and burglary, vandalism, fire outbreak, and sadly, random acts of violence. The unspoken rule used to be that a church should be respected, and only the lowest criminal mind would even think of attacking a church. We now hear of shooting incidences and all kinds of violent acts against churches. While we know that God is our security and refuge, the church needs to be security conscious of its environment.
